                                     OUR HISTORY
Agape Baptist Church began in form of house fellowship center at the above mentioned locality. On the 17th April, 2005 she was planted as a daughter church with few families in attendance.
The Sunday Worship was held under a mango tree at the front of the hosting family’s residence in person of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Femi Ige. Later the family allowed that their living room be used for every worship service. The hosting family, however, sacrificed a lot to ensure that the church worship services are held without any form of disturbance, inconveniency or hinderance.
For seven (7) years thereabout, Agape Baptist Church still worshipped in sitting room. This is because the indigenous Muslim people refused to sell land to churches. Fortunately, as God would have, a priviledge of purchasing a piece of land at Ita-Elepa came which the church leadership did not take for granted.
In April, 29th of 2012, the church moved to her new and permanent site. Hence, the church building though not completed was opened for worship by Rev. Dr. S.O James the Emmanuel Baptist Church Pastor and members.
To God be the glory. The ABC will celebrate her 12th year anniversary by 17th April 2017.
